Wolf People licensing action stayed
SANDPOINT — A pending action against Wolf People’s exhibition license has been stayed while the matter is being reviewed by a 2nd District Court judge, court records show.
Fish & Game Director Virgil Moore signed an order in February suspending Wolf People’s license for a year for allowing the public to have direct contact with wolves at its Cocolalla facility.
Counsel for Wolf People filed a petition for judicial review in a bid to thwart the licensing action. Moore’s order was stayed until May 11 and stayed again until June 30 as the two sides agree to an expedited briefing schedule, court documents indicate.
