Lakes board meets June 4

DOVER — Mining proposals, hazardous materials response plans and Albeni Falls’ role in the Columbia River power system will be discussed when the Idaho Lakes Commission meets on Thursday, June 4.

The meeting starts at 9 a.m. at Dover City Hall, 699 Lakeshore Ave.

It kicks off with an update by Tom Woolf of the Idaho State Department of Agriculture on aquatic invasive species issues in the Priest and Pend Oreille systems.
