Requests for personal emails inappropriate

In the 11 years I have been a member of the Lake Pend Oreille School Board, requests to examine public records have been few and far between. Since March, between them Dan and Kathy Rose have submitted six such requests, some of them requiring considerable — and costly — staff time to prepare.

The last two requests are from Dan Rose, including one to me last week asking for my personal email relating to the school board election. What’s the point? Last week Kathy Rose lost to Joel Molander in the contest for School Board Zone 1. It wasn’t even close; Molander won by more than 70 percent.
