Bulldog boys dominate 4A All-Inland Empire League soccer team

SANDPOINT — Led by senior Kyle Hertel, who posted seven shutouts and was named Goalkeeper of the year, the Bulldog boys landed six players on the 4A All-Inland Empire League boys soccer team, as voted on recently by the league’s coaches. 

High flying junior Dawson Mulder scored a team-high 11 goals to go with three assists, earning Offensive Player of the Year, and speedy senior Mahonri Hunsaker anchored a back four that helped post seven shutouts, earning Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Also earning honors were junior Charlie Crane, a deft passer and distributor who led the Bulldogs with six assists to go with six goals, and sophomores Mac Stultz (four goals) and defender Tanner Kohal.
