Schweitzer is edged in 'throwdown'

SANDPOINT — Schweitzer Mountain Resort was edged by Red Mountain in Powder’s annual Ski Town Throwdown.

Schweitzer was ranked number one in the Far West division  and made it to the conference finals after besting Bend, Ore., Whitefish, Mont., and Mammoth, Calif., in online voting.
