Halt the sidewalk fascism in the city

In a city where sidewalks are often unsuitable and illogical for reasons of topography, safety, or existing infrastructure and where many existing sidewalks have been buckled by trees planted decades ago, it is outrageous that Sandpoint is forcing homeowners to pay for expensive sidewalk installations, often on a sidewalks-to-nowhere basis.
