Bulldogs land eight runners on District 1 cross country team

SANDPOINT — The Idaho District I Cross Country team was announced recently, and Sandpoint had eight runners (six girls, two boys) make the team again this year. The team is comprised of the top 12 runners from all District I schools, regardless of classification, and is selected by 12 coaches from District I. The six girls is the most ever for the Bulldogs, which speaks to their depth, and the eight total ties for the most ever by Sandpoint.

• Runners of the year Girls: Caitlyn Conway, Coeur d’Alene.

Boys: Alex Walde, Coeur d’Alene.
