SANDPOINT — The sound of jingling bells is again upon us with the start of the Salvation Army kettle campaign on Black Friday.

The Salvation Army kettle campaign is staffed with volunteers in Sandpoint, and they hope to have enough volunteers to ring the bells at four stores, Super 1 Foods, Yoke's, Walmart and Safeway. The campaign will run through Christmas Eve, on Fridays and Saturdays, from about 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Those times are just estimates as volunteers may be able to work only shorter shifts.
