Schoening drops in 30 in loss to Trojans

POST FALLS — Madi Schoening went off for 30 points to go with seven boards and five steals, but a slow start proved costly, as the Bulldogs fell 72-46 to Post Falls in nonleague girls basketball Wednesday night at Post Falls High School. 

Schoening made 10 of 18 field goals, and was a perfect 9 of 9 from the line, but the Bulldogs (1-1) were outscored 23-7 in the opening frame, before finally settling in and making some things happen.
