Representative helps many constituents

| November 24, 2015 6:00 AM

As a longtime resident of Priest River, I continue to be impressed by our state representative, Heather Scott. This lady is not only tireless in her efforts when in the Legislature in Boise, but she devotes pretty much all of her time while home to helping constituents with issues. Plus she keeps us informed by holding town hall meetings all over the district, from Priest River to Bonners Ferry.

For most legislators, that’s more than enough; some don’t come close to staying in touch with their constituents as much as she does. Recently you could find her at the Convoy of Hope as a volunteer, and quite often at the God’s Provisions Thrift Store in Priest River, a place she volunteered at before being elected and continues right now.
