U.S. has moral obligation to accept the refugees

| November 24, 2015 6:00 AM

Most of us feel disgust for the professional politician’s well-known expertise at spreading fear. Whether it be WMD in Iraq, ebola in Africa, bird flu in Asia, prisoners at Gitmo, terrorists on the streets of Paris, a drop in the NYSE, or the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, their response is predictable: fear. Surely, for them, when their own security is at stake, the answer is never “deal with it” but to run, hide, take cover, isolate themselves from the scourge and from anything that could harm them. “No, no, we can’t bring the troops out ‘cause the terrorist will follow them home.”
