There is a bit of mystery surrounding a recent letter received by staff at The Cottage, Panhandle Special Needs, Inc.’s thrift store. Apparently someone took some books without paying for them. Then, in a bout of remorse, confessed the crime and sent them $10 in restitution.

Of course, they don’t know who the culprit was. And, according to Lois Miller, a long-time PSNI volunteer, they don’t know which books were taken.
