(NewsUSA) - Oleg Frish, a veteran TV/Radio talk show host and singer/performer is truly living the American dream. He grew up in the Soviet Union, and after hearing his first American standard, ("Hello Dolly" by Brenda Lee) at the age of 4, he instantly fell in love with the genre. By his early teens, he had memorized some 15,000 songs from The American Songbook (recorded during the "Golden Age of Popular Music" 1920-1960). "I'm fascinated and believe this is the greatest music ever recorded," explained Oleg. "I'm not sure anyone could love or know its history more than I do."

Fast forward to this year, and the burgeoning singer gets to record and release a dream-come-true duets album with 10 of the legendary stars he grew up admiring entitled, "Oleg Frish, Duets With My American Idols." The 15-track opus of standards includes an introduction by Connie Francis, duets with Bobby Rydell, Gary U. S. Bonds, Lainie Kazan, the late Ben E. King (his last known recording), Tony Orlando, Melissa Manchester, Lou Christie, B. J. Thomas, Peggy March and Chris Montez, plus four solo performances by Oleg. "I'm so grateful to have recorded with such amazing artists," he stated. "Every day in the studio I pinched myself to make sure it was for real."

Oleg's chain of lifelong dreams started in 1991, when he moved to New York and soon settled in Brooklyn. He later partnered with RTVi (Russian Television International) to become the first Russian to produce and host his own his talk show in America (next year will mark

his 20th anniversary). Over that span, he has interviewed more than 2000 popular music stars and celebrities: the late James Brown, B.B. King and Donna Summer, Connie Francis, Engelbert Humperdinck, Paul Anka, Al Martino, Jack Jones, Kenny G, Andy Williams, Marvin Hamlisch, Petula Clark, Michel Legrand, Gloria Gaynor, Brenda Lee, Vikki Carr and Neil Sedaka, to name a few.

"I believe in miracles," enthused Oleg. "My dreams of becoming an American, hosting my own television/radio shows, and recording my duets album are proof they can happen."

Starting this holiday season, the album can be purchased at a special reduced price of $6.99 on iTunes at http://bit.ly/iTunes-Duets-American-Idols and Amazon at http://bit.ly/Amazon-Duets-American-Idols. It was released on his own imprint, Time Out Media, which is distributed by BDG/RED Distribution LLC (a division of Sony Music Entertainment ).
