SANDPOINT — Five Bulldogs were getting swings in the attack, as Sandpoint went 3-3 on Saturday to finish fifth in the Silver bracket, and 37th out of 64 teams at the Linda Sheridan Classic in Spokane.

Grace Kirscher led the Bulldogs (13-14) in kills and blocks with 28 and eight, respectively, Laney Search chipped in with 27 kills, 65 assists, 39 digs and six aces and Kayla Neumann 27 kills, 35 digs and a team-high eight aces. It was a great chance for the Bulldogs to face some touch competition from Washington, as they beat North Central and West Valley in pool play, then beat Mt. Si 25-18, 25-17 before falling in a tough tie-breaker against Kennewick 25-22, 21-25 and 15-10.
