Wampus Cats fall to Deary

Dylan Roper caught a 45-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Wade Steven as the Wampus Cats fell 58-8 at No. 1 ranked Deary on Friday night.

“You can see why they’re ranked No. 1 in the state. They’re big, fast, physical and well disciplined,” said Cats head coach Brian Arthun, lamenting the season-ending injury to senior lineman Eich Anderson. “We definitely missed big Eich on both the offensive and defensive lines.”
