Polygraph exams eyed in crash case

SANDPOINT — Polygraph examinations will be utilized to get to the bottom of a collision between a motorist and cyclist, court records show.

Loyal Deloss Amstutz was charged with inattentive driving after he allegedly struck a cyclist while driving his pickup truck on Woodland Drive on June 18. But accounts of the crash are polar opposites, according to police reports and witness statements.
