Bullpup boys cross country team first

SANDPOINT — The Sandpoint Middle School boys cross country team beat seven other teams to win the district cross country title recently at Ramsey Park in Coeur d’Alene, while the girls team finished second among six teams on the 1.5-mile course. 

The girls scored 64 points, trailing only Post Falls at 43. The boys team posted a season low score of 43, beating Woodland by 12 points.

Hattie Larson placed 4th with a time of 9:41 to lead the Bullpup girls. Also making the podium for the first time this season was Camille Neuder, who placed 10th with a time of 10:17. Packing up were Taitam Bowen and Mesa Keating at 13th and 14th, with Annaby Kanning placing 21st to round out the scorers.
