Rognstad understands the issues facing city

Pledgegate has taken over the mayoral campaign. That Shelby Rognstad doesn’t cover his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance is pure evidence that he hates America. Actually, I don’t cover my heart either. 

The Vietnam veteran who questioned Rognstad’s loyalty should remember that had he said the same about Andrew Jackson, he would have faced a duel. I’ve advised Rognstad not to take it that far. I, too, am a Vietnam veteran. I fly the American flag on my front porch.
