Thunder soccer and volleyball teams in MCL tournaments

SANDPOINT — The Kootenai Thunder volleyball team took on the Christian Center School Lions at home recently, winning 26-24, 26-24, 25-18 and vaulting into second place in the Mountain Christian League.

The Thunder then lost to the same team 15-25, 25-17, 25-9, 25-20 on the road, which was compounded by a sprained ankle sustained by starting setter Marian Soderberg.
