As I sit down to write this letter, the county clerk who failed to obey the Supreme Court ruling that required her to issue a marriage license to a same sex couple, is headed to jail. ?For me it’s pretty straightforward,I may disagree with a particular law,but that doesn’t absolve me from having to obey that law. Once the Supreme Court has ruled, anyone violating that ruling is subject to incarceration.
