Nizzoli, Dressel score twice in Bulldogs' win

| September 8, 2015 7:00 AM

BONNERS FERRY — Julian Nizzoli and Christian Dressel each scored a pair of second half goals, as Sandpoint cruised to a 7-0 shutout win over Bonners Ferry in nonleague boys soccer on Friday night at Bonners Ferry High School.

The Bulldogs (5-1) had five different players find the back of the net, dominating the action and dipping into an abundance of depth against the over-matched 3A Badgers.

“We spread it around to a lot of guys,” said Bulldogs head coach Adam Tajan. “We’ve got such depth.”

Just six games into the season and already eight Bulldogs have scored, a great sign moving forward.

Sandpoint heads to Lakeland tonight for a 4A Inland Empire League opener for both teams, with kickoff slated for 4:30 p.m.
