The headline for the article regarding the blocked sewer lines in the Bonner County Daily Bee, gives the public the incorrect perception of the blockage being a problem of the city of Ponderay. Although your reporter did speak with Tanner Weisgram, operations manager for the Kootenai Ponderay Sewer District, there were several important factors not addressed or mentioned.

The Kootenai Ponderay Sewer District collects and treats the wastewater for the city of Kootenai, most of the city of Ponderay and parts of the unincorporated areas of the county.
