Thorofare work on lake board's agenda

| September 9, 2015 7:00 AM

PRIEST RIVER — The future of the Priest Lake Thorofare and management of the lake's summer pool will be discussed when the Idaho Lakes Commission meets on Thursday, Sept. 17.

The meeting starts at 9 a.m. at the Beardmore Building at 119 Main St.

Fred Cox and Ken Hagman of the nonprofit Save the Priest Lake Thorofare will update the commission on the fate of the waterway linking Priest Lake with Upper Priest Lake. Sedimentation and a deteriorating breakwater are threatening the navigability of the thorofare by powerboats.
