Dunkel offers chance for meaningful change

| September 10, 2015 7:00 AM

It may be a little early, but after reading the statements of Mose Dunkel and Shelby Rognstad in the recent article, I can’t help but make an observation.

Compare the two. Mose cites specific examples of changes he would address in city government. The disconnect between the real world and the twilight zone of the city government. Take the recent administrator issue for example. A well-attended meeting with five people speaking against the office, not to mention a single letter in the Bee supporting the thing. The council apparently listened with thinly-concealed disdain after which they voted for the position despite the public’s wishes.
