Don't go voting for Joe Btfsplk

The image of the GOP is presently crystal clear — it looks just like Joe Btfsplk.

For those not old enough to have followed the comic strip Li’l Abner by Al Capp back in the 1940s and ‘50s, Joe Btfsplk was known as the world’s biggest jinx. Wherever he wandered a black cloud hovered over his head as a warning that bad things were on the way. Consequently, on first sighting Joe, people were warned to get away from the calamity they knew was sure to follow.
