MOSCOW — Senior Riley Couch had a hand in both goals, leading the Bulldog girls to a 2-0 shutout win over Moscow in 4A Inland Empire League girls soccer action Tuesday at Moscow High School.
After a scoreless first half, Couch found Claire Shaha at the top of the box, and Shaha shook the keeper to net her first goal of the season in the 49th minute. Not long after, Couch was on the receiving end of a pass from Riley Walkington for the insurance goal.
“They made eye contact, and Riley (Walkington) sent a ball through,” described Bulldogs head coach Conor Baranski. “(Couch) made a cool, calm and controlled finish.”
