SANDPOINT POLICE
March 27
An officer advised that children playing with the phone dialed 911 after a 911 hang-up was reported on Schweitzer Cutoff Road at 8:55 a.m.
A female was issued a verbal warning in the Ontario Street area and advised at 11:41 a.m. not to contact another relative.
A moose was reported on the loose in the Sandpoint area at 1:45 p.m.
An officer assisted Ponderay Police on an alarm call on Kootenai Cutoff Road at 2:20 p.m.
A marijuana pipe was seized for destruction during a traffic stop in the area of Short Avenue and Larch Street at 3 p.m.
An officer was unable to locate a suspicious male reported in the 1500 block of Cedar Street at 3:12 p.m.
An officer checked on a female in the 1000 block of Church Street after a welfare check request at 8:05 p.m. and advised she was fine.
A Sandpoint officer assisted the county and ISP on a suspicious vehicle call in the 800 block of Pine Street Loop at 9:27 p.m. and advised the call was unfounded.
Andrew J Largesse, 30, of Sandpoint, was cited on a charge of possession of marijuana and invalid driver’s license at 11:36 p.m.
