Pro X celebrates grand opening

| April 1, 2016 1:00 AM

BONNERS FERRY — Pro X Home Center will celebrate the grand opening of its new location in Bonners Ferry this weekend.

Instead of the traditional ribbon-cutting, Pro X will officially open the doors to its new store with a log cutting today, welcoming customers and the community to the new, 12,000-square-foot home center. “We are very excited to introduce and share this new home improvement store with the community,” said Jeff Brubaker, owner of Pro X. “Our new location will enable our team to better serve our customers, as well as provide the community with a better overall shopping experience, thanks to a broader selection of retail products located under one roof.”

The new Pro X Home Center will offer a broader range of products in all departments due to its overall expansion. Brubaker began planning and pursuing development of the new store several years ago, as sustained growth meant the previous Pro X Home Center was unable to handle the store’s increasing customer base and volume.

The April 1 grand opening celebration also kicks off a month-long sales event at the new Pro X Home Center. Throughout the month, the store will feature sales on a number of products, as well as contests, product giveaways and vendor demonstrations.

The log-cutting event to celebrate the grand opening of Pro X Home Center will take place at 8 a.m. today. The new Pro X Home Center is located at 510374 Highway 95 in Bonners Ferry. Normal store hours are 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The store is closed Sundays.
