Idaho Club now open play

| April 7, 2016 10:09 PM

SANDPOINT — A mild winter and early spring mean an early start for area golfers, who can now play at the Idaho Club, which is officially open for play.

A special winter rate of $65, which includes greens fees and a cart, will be available until May 15. The course was aerated last fall, and the greens have already been mowed, making for strong early-season conditions.

The only Jack Nicklaus-designed course in the state of Idaho will be semi-private in 2016, which means the public can play it but there are also still members.

Temperatures are slated to reach the high 70s this weekend, which marks a great time to get out and knock some rust off your game.

Please call the Idaho Club golf shop at (208) 265-2345 to reserve your tee-time.
