April 5

Malicious mischief was reported in the 1000 block of Oak Street at 7:11 a.m.; officers advised garbage cans were turned over and a firewood stack pulled down.

A follow-up report was taken on Hickory Glen Avenue at 8:56 a.m.

An officer mediated during a child custody dispute in the area of Oak and Halley streets at 12:13 p.m.

A follow-up report was taken on N. Boyer Avenue at 12:48 p.m.

Suspicious phone calls were reported in the 1000 block of S. Division Avenue at 12:59 p.m.

A 17-year-old Sandpoint male on Bridge Street was issued a promise to appear at 1:26 p.m. for assault after threatening to beat up his ex-girlfriend.

An officer checked on two children in a vehicle in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue at 1:49 p.m. and advised they were fine.

Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 1500 block of Pine Street at 6:47 p.m.

Unfounded report of harassment in the 600 block of S. Division Avenue at 7:10 p.m.

April 6

Officers checked the residents in the 1600 block and advised there was a verbal argument but nothing physical after a complaint of a possible family offense at 12:13 a.m.

Officer was canceled after a situation in the 1000 block was resolved following a reported civil dispute at 1:07 a.m.

Douglas W. Dicken, 20, of Sandpoint, was cited at City Beach on a charge of obstructing an officer at 3:18 a.m.

Accidental alarm activation in the 900 block of Ebbett Way at 5:27 a.m.

April 5

Officer received a call in reference to a reckless driver in the 30000 block of Highway 200 at 1:30 p.m.

Officer received a report of a reckless driver in the 475000 block of Highway 95 at 1:46 p.m.

Officer responded to a 911 call in the 1000 block of Fontaine Drive at 2:17 p.m.

Officer responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash in the 476000 block of Highway 95 at 2:37 p.m.

Officer responded to a 911 call in the 800 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 3:19 p.m.

Meldrem S. Kennedy, 58, of Ponderay was cited on a charge of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia in the 800 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 4:29 p.m.

Officer responded to a citizen assist in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 3:54 p.m.

Officer received information into a possible private property vehicle crash in the 477100 block of Highway 95 at 7:12 p.m.
