James Wesley Hamilton

| April 9, 2016 1:00 AM

James Wesley Hamilton was granted his angel wings on April 1, 2016. Born March 31 at 3:07 p.m., baby James weighed 3 pounds, 11 ounces, with a head of dark hair. He died peacefully in the arms of his loving parents after 12 beautiful and unforgettable hours.

James experienced holding hands with his mommy and daddy, listening as his mommy and daddy talked to him, and being told “I love you” an uncountable amount of times. A beautiful baby boy who touched many lives in such a brief time. His perfect nose, tiny fingers and baby soft skin brought so much joy to the family. Although he was so tiny and frail, he gave his family such courage and hope and reminded them of the preciousness of life.

James will always remain his parents' precious baby and Abby's little brother and they will hold him again in heaven one day.

James is survived by his loving parents, Wes and Becky Hamilton of Sandpoint, Idaho; his sister, Abby Hamilton; his paternal grandmother Laura, Knudsen; his maternal grandparents, Jack and Dorothy Konsbruck; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The Hamilton and Konsbruck families would like to personally thank all the nurses and staff at Sacred Heart Medical Center (Birthplace and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), in Spokane, Wash., for their amazing care, love, compassion and support during this very tough time. We will be forever grateful.

There will be no services held.
