Mosher death ruled accidental

SANDPOINT — The death of a former Bonner County man in Spokane late last year has been ruled an accident, according to the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The body of Dustin Claude Mosher was found in a yard at a residence in the city’s north side on Dec. 5, 2015, according to a Spokesman-Review news article. Mosher, 28, was missing a shoe and a shovel was found near the body, the report said. Tire tracks and possibly blood on grass and concrete were also reportedly found near the body.

Taylor Diggles, a spokeswoman for the medical examiner’s office, said on Wednesday that Mosher’s cause of death was due to methamphetamine toxicity and that his manner of death was accidental.

Teresa Fuller, spokeswoman for the Spokane Police Department, said the investigation into Mosher’s death is closed.

“Nothing criminal on our end,” Fuller said of the investigation’s outcome.
