Group welcomes local politicians

PONDERAY — The Bonner County Republican Women, Inc., will meet on Tuesday, April 19, at 10:15 a.m. at the Ponderay Events Center, 401 Bonner Mall Way, Ponderay.

Social time with refreshments will be from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m., followed by a candidate forum to which District 1 Sen. Shawn Keough, Reps. Heather Scott and Sage Dixon, and senatorial candidate Glenn Rohrer have been invited. Also invited have been District 7 Sen. Sheryl Nuxoll, Rep. Shannon McMillan and Paul Shepherd, as well as District 7 senatorial candidate Carl Crabtree and representative candidates Priscilla Giddings and Kris Steneck.

Candidate presentations will be followed by a question-and-answer period.

A fee of $5 is charged which covers refreshments and room rental.
