Garman claims four wins at home meet

CLARK FORK — Emily Garman was easily the athlete of the of the meet on Tuesday when the Wampus Cat track team hosted the Clark Fork Invitational.

Garman won both the 100 and 200 meters, and also swept the 100 and 300 hurdles, earning valuable points for the Clark Fork girls team, which finished third.

Nona Young threw a personal best 29-9 to win the shot put, and like Garman, has her sights set on a berth at state.

Junior Hunter Boudousquie led the Clark Fork boys team by winning the 200 meters and finishing second in the long jump. Max Icardo clocked a 5:32 to win the 1,600 by two seconds and also finished third in the long jump, while Dakota West placed in the high jump and triple jump.

Clark Fork is at the Kellogg Invitational on Saturday.
