BCRW hosting candidates today

PONDERAY — Bonner County Republican Women Inc. is holding its monthly meeting today.

It starts at 10:15 a.m. at the Ponderay Events Center, 401 Bonner Mall Way, with social time and refreshments.

The group is also hosting a candidate forum to which legislative candidates have been invited to attend. Invitations have been extended to incumbent District 1 Sen. Shawn Keough and Glenn Rohrer, who is competing with Keough for the GOP nomination in the May 17 primary election. Also invited are incumbent Reps. Heather Scott, Sage Dixon and District 7 Sen. Sheryl Nuxoll, Reps. Shannon McMillan and Paul Shepherd and District 7 candidates Carl Crabtree Priscilla Giddings and Kris Steneck.

Candidates will give presentations and take questions.
