Garman dominates at North Star League meet

WALLACE — Emily Garman swept the speed events at a North Star League track meet in Wallace on Tuesday, winning the 100 and 100, as well as the 100 and 300 hurdles, and Dakota West won the triple jump and finished second in the high jump to lead the Wampus Cat boys.

Max Icardo won the 300 hurdles, was fourth in the long jump and sixth in the 200, while Hunter Boudousquie was third in the 100, 400 and long jump, and fifth int he 200. Other Wampus Cat boys included Grant Depenthal (2nd in the 800), Tyler Hammack (4th in the shot) Drew Gilpin (6th in the 100), Noah Bova (7th in the 100), and Michael Myers (4th in the 800, 7th in the 400).

Ali Sutton was third in the 1,600 and fifth in the shot put, and Dustie Jackman finished fourth in the 100 for the Wampus Cat girls.

The Wampus Cats are at Kootenai on Tuesday.
