Deputies responded to the Sunnyside Road area for a citizen assist at 6:41 p.m.

April 20

Emily Zahnter, 26, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer after a family offense was reported on W. Spring Creek Road at 1:44 a.m.; and deputies advised charges are being sought against Jeremy Whittington, 34, on charges of domestic battery and violation of a protection order.

Report of a single vehicle injury crash in the 48000 block of Highway 200 at 3:23 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

April 19

A possible Internet crime was reported in the 700 block of N. Florence Avenue at 6:57 a.m.

An officer was unable to contact a citizen in the N. Ella Avenue who wanted to file a report at 7:31 a.m.

An officer mediated in a family dispute over property in the 1100 block of Elderberry Avenue at 1:19 p.m.

A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported in the area of S. Boyer Avenue and Highway 2 at 2:40 p.m.

A citizen on N. Boyer avenue wanted to speak to an officer at 3:21 p.m. about possibly trespassing a relative from a public building.

A 911 pocket dial was reported on S. Division Avenue at 3:57 p.m.

A 16-year-old female was signed as a runaway in the 800 block of Hickory Glen Avenue at 4:10 p.m.

Officers were unable to locate a wanted subject reported in the Oak Street area at 5:09 p.m.

Ongoing problem were reported with a reckless driver in the 1200 block of Honeysuckle Avenue at 4:57 p.m.

A disorderly male had already fled the 1100 block of N. Florence Avenue when the officers arrived at 5:48 p.m.

A resident in the 300 block of Lavina Avenue was referred to her landlord for further assistance after a request for assistance at 5:20 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a possibly impaired driver in the 14500 block of Nicholas Way at 6:32 p.m.

Stephen P. Hindsley, 26, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the area of W. Lake Street and S. Division Avenue at 9:17 p.m. on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and resisting/obstructing after a short foot pursuit.

A local transient was contacted sleeping in the park on Hickory Street at 9:48 p.m. and advised he could not sleep there.

PONDERAY POLICE

April 19

Donald N. Mollenberg, 58, of Priest River was arrested at 11:54 a.m. on an outstanding Kootenai County warrant in the 476900 block of Highway 95.

An officer responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 300 block of Bonner Mall Way at 3:16 p.m.

An officer responded to a report of phone harassment in the 800 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 5 p.m.

Raymond W. Gatzke, 39, of Spokane, Wash., was arrested at 5:56 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia in the Black Rock area.

A hit-and-run accident was reported in the area of Highway 200 and Kootenai Cutoff Road at 8:01 p.m.

April 19

A missing person was reported on Harriet Street at 9:40 a.m.

Information was relayed to law enforcement on Larch Street at 11:47 a.m.

A non-injury accident was reported on Highway 57 at 12:20 p.m.
