On May 17, you’ll have two choices to vote for the District 3 position of Bonner County commissioner, and I recommend Dan McDonald.

Dan has been living, working, and participating in our community for 20 years. His volunteerism is well known — coaching youth baseball and volleyball, running fundraisers for the food bank, involvement with Kinderhaven, and more. He feels strongly that we need to improve our local economy to ensure that we, and our kids, will have a place to work instead of leaving the area.

He pays attention to our county’s issues as well as the state’s and zeroes in on solutions that make sense. You’ll see him at county commissioners’ and other political meetings on a regular basis because that’s where he keeps his finger on the pulse and hears about people’s concerns.

The choice is clear.
