Repubs are big on big businesses; you know, those revered job creators they incessantly crow about. One would think these paragons of industry only reason for existence is for doing good for humanity. I have a different take.

The sad thing is there are too few Starbucks and Ben & Jerry’s to negate the rampant corruption and arrogance of Big Coal, Big Pharma, Big Oil, General Electric, Bank of America, the airlines, Big Tabacco, the Military Industrial Complex, Meat Packers, Monsanto, Dow Chemical, Big Timber, and beaucoup of sundry other job creators the GOP would have us believe are exemplary corporate citizens.

What this battery of rogue corporations have done to us individually, to our government, and to our planet are, of course, crimes against humanity. Pick any of them and ask: why have the airlines treated consumers with disdain? why have the coal companies befouled our land, water, and air? what is Lockheed Martin doing to us with the F-35? Why have they as a group schemed to avoid paying their fair share of taxes? One answer fits all and it has nothing to do with creating jobs: g-r-e-e-d!

Don’t tell me these criminal corporations are over-regulated by the government—they do what they do because they are not nearly regulated enough and because they have bribed the regulators.
