I am writing this letter in support of Terry Ford for Bonner County sheriff.

Personally, I have known and worked with Terry for many years during his tenure with the Idaho State Police. I have found Terry Ford to be an outstanding law enforcement officer who performs his job with excellence, compassion, and a most ardent protector, not only of the public he serves, but his fellow officers.

Terry Ford wrote and worked with Idaho legislators to pass a bill into law that is meant to protect police canines from harm by persons that commit crimes.

The Medal of Honor was presented to Terry Ford for his courageous actions while in the line of duty.

This is the kind of person that I “hope” for to be the next Sheriff of Bonner County.
