Garman, Young lead Wampus Cats at Kootenai meet

HARRISON FLATS — Emily Garman won the 200 and 300 hurdles, both by mere tenths of seconds, and Nona Young was second in the shot put, leading the Clark Fork girls to a third place finish among six teams on Tuesday at the Kootenai Invitational, a meet which attracted North Star League schools and Deary.

Hunter Boudousquie clocked a 12.37 to finish second in the 100 meters, and Max Icardo was second in the 300 hurdles to lead the Wampus Cat boys, who finished fourth.

The Wampus Cats will get to test their speed and skills against bigger schools on Friday at the Timberlake Invitational.
