The two-day camp, put on by the SHS coaches and players as well as some youth coaches, focused on defense Wednesday, including the “Heads Up Tackling” program taught throughout the nation to improve the safety of the game. Football is in the air, as the high school teams started practice on Wednesday, and many of the varsity players showed up to help coach the 3rd through 8th graders.
