We have a nice guy president, Mr. Wynhausen, who gave away our heritage to try and buy friends. Those of us who fought for those ideals resent the fact that one person (or his handlers) can usurp that much authority. We need a president that supports this country.

I find it interesting that you mention the “lifted “ items from Mrs. Obama”s speech. In fact, Mrs. Obama or her speech writer “lifted “ them from Mrs. Dole’s speech at the 1996 Republican convention. It seems that liberals love to adjust facts to suit their agenda like bragging about job creation during the census taking when the jobs were only temporary or calling 24-year-old gang members “kids” when they quote shooting violence statistics. How about Obama’s “We are no longer a Christian nation”?

On the same page as your latest letter there is one where the LPOSD was accused of being a spendthrift but when reviewed it was shown that the writer had not done any fact checking. A famous person once said, “facts to a liberal are like kryptonite to Superman.” An honest politician doesn’t need to adjust the facts.
