NIFRW hosting levy program

SANDPOINT — North Idaho Federated Republican Women are hosting Trent Clark, governmental affairs manager for Monsanto, at their Aug. 11 meeting. Clark will be speaking about an amendment to Article III of the Idaho Constitution that will be appearing on the ballot in November.

Additionally, Kendon Perry and Lake Pend Oreille School District Superintendent Shawn Woodward will give a brief summary of the upcoming plant facilities levy election, slated for Aug. 30.

The meeting will take place at the Holiday Inn Express, located on Highway 95 North, Ponderay. A social will start at 5:30 p.m.; the meeting begins at 5:45 p.m.
