—Photo by ERIC PLUMMER While it wasn’t a track meet by any stretch of the imagination, there was plenty of speed on display at the Pig Scramble Wednesday at the Bonner County Fair. Scores of area youth from different age groups chased after a greased up pig, with the winner getting to keep his catch. When the announcer yelled go, the kids started chasing in high gear as fast as they could, until the winner was able to pick up the pig and hold onto it for 10 seconds. Suffice it to say, it was highly entertaining, as the pig proved tough to catch at times.
