Kevin Ray McMillan, 37, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Viewing for friends and family will be held from 9 a.m. until noon on Thursday, Aug. 18, at the Lakeview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, at the Lakeview Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Rust from the Cedar Hills Church officiating. A potluck reception will follow at the Cedar Hills Church.

Kevin was born on Nov. 2, 1978 in Newport, Wash., to Jerry McMillan and Connie Tullis. He grew up in Las Vegas and North Idaho. Kevin enjoyed many outdoor activities with his family like fishing, camping, and swimming. He also enjoyed working on his cars and lifting weights.

He was a member of Cedar Hills Church, was active in 12-step recovery groups, and volunteered at the Bonner Com-munity Food Bank.

He is survived by his brothers, Jim Sumpter, Dave Sum-mers, Jed McMillan and Jeremy McMillan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many people who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a brother, Tom.
