Schools, hospitals, libraries and public buildings like the courthouse are all essential parts of the fabric of a community. We applaud the current and past school board administrations for their commitment to academic excellence. The students are holding up their end of the bargain with their achievements. Now it is time to upgrade our schools’ infrastructure to show we place a high value on education in our community.

We intend to vote yes for the school levy on Aug. 30.
