Opiod abuse prevention talk set

SANDPOINT — Throughout the country and in particular in Bonner County, opioid abuse is becoming one of the most serious health issues facing not only the medical community but law enforcement, educational institutions and the general public.

Jason Wallentine, a University of Washington second year medical student spent months studying this issue and its consequences and will present his findings at a seminar co-sponsored by 7B Drug Free, Bonner General Health and BGH Foundation on Aug. 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 30 in the second-floor conference room at Columbia Bank. Lunch will be served.
