—Courtesy photo The Sandpoint cross country team had its annual camp out at Farragut State Park recently. The team is pictured on a hillside after the hill climb, where a girls team record was broken. Katherine Kaul ran a 17:11, breaking the previous record of 17:12 set by Mikhaela Woodward in 2014, while Fin Lund-Andersen posted the top boys time. Depending on the cross country course, the ability to run the hills can often swing races, and the Sandpoint area has plenty of elevation on which to train. The Bulldogs kick off the season on Thursday at the Post Falls River Run.
