SANDPOINT POLICE

Dec. 8

A possible prowler from the previous night was reported in the 400 block of Huron Avenue at 8:12 a.m.

A vehicle in the alley in the 1300 block of Chestnut Street was tagged for 48-hour removal at 9:07 a.m.

An officer was unable to contact the owner of a barking dog in the 1800 block of Main Street at 9:43 a.m.

A case was assigned to cover a report of pornography in the Sandpoint area at 10:32 a.m.

An officer was unable to locate a female who possibly made suicidal threats then left the 1300 block of N. Division Avenue at 10:39 a.m.

A dog complaint was filed in the Main Street area at 10:11 a.m.

After a complaint of an animal problem in the area of Great Northern and Gooby roads at 11:19 a.m., an officer checked on some horses; they had water and a water heater to keep it from freezing.

An officer responded after a citizen locked himself out of his vehicle in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue at 3:10 p.m.

An officer advised at 3:48 p.m. that a harassment call on Samuelson Avenue was unfounded; call was already reported to Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office as the incidents occurred there.

After a report of child neglect in the 600 block of Larch Street at 5:02 p.m., an officer contacted the parents of a small child

in the 600 block. CPS later did a home visit and will counsel the parents.

A possible burglary was reported in the 100 block of S. Fourth Avenue at 5:28 p.m.; further information will be provided to the officer.

An officer spoke to a citizen at an unspecified location, who requested information be passed on to ISP at 5:43 p.m.

An officer stood by on Pine Street while CPS did a home visit at 6:24 p.m.

A follow-up report was taken on Baldy Mountain Road at 7:30 p.m.

An officer answered questions in the 600 block of S. Division Avenue at 7:44 p.m. regarding a dog complaint.

An officer located an open door in the 1700 block of Northshore Drive at 10:16 p.m.; nothing appeared disturbed.

Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area of the 400 block of Larch Street after a report of suspicious circumstances at 11:34 p.m.

An officer contacted a citizen in the 600 block of S. Division Avenue at 2:31 a.m. regarding a civil dispute.

Dec. 8

Desiree Shoshanna Darden, 33, of Ponderay was cited on a charge of driving without privileges on Kootenai Cutoff Road at 11:56 a.m.

Officers responded to a 911 hang-up in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 12:36 p.m.

Officers responded for a follow-up in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 1:23 p.m.

An officer conducted a follow -up investigation in the 1100 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 2:50 p.m.
